AI System Architect

You have the opportunity to join our team at the position AI System Architect

What will you do?

• Participate in the design of architectures for AI-enabled systems, intelligent services and data-driven solutions;
• Define technical concepts for integrating AI functionality into existing or new information systems and digital products;
• Support architectural design involving large language models, AI agents, knowledge bases, structured data, APIs, data flows and system integrations;
• Work on architectural approaches for chat agents, bots, intelligent assistants and AI-supported internal or external user experiences;
• Support the design and evolution of AI platform architecture across application services, infrastructure, data and cloud components;
• Participate in decisions related to data structuring, data access, data governance, security, reliability and interoperability;
• Collaborate with development teams, data specialists, analysts, project managers, security experts and business stakeholders;
• Support architecture reviews, technical documentation, solution assessments and technology evaluations;
• Define integration patterns, reusable components, development guidelines and technical standards;
• Contribute to system hardening, scalability, performance, maintainability and production readiness;
• Follow technology trends in AI, software architecture, data platforms, cloud infrastructure and modern development tools.

What skills and qualifications you need to have?

• Experience in software architecture, system design or senior-level software development;
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, integration patterns, APIs and distributed systems;
• Good knowledge of databases, data models, data structures, data flows and enterprise system integration;
• Experience with backend technologies such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Spring Boot, Node.js or similar;
• Understanding of AI-related concepts, large language models, AI services, machine learning workflows or intelligent software systems;
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar;
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable, secure and well-documented software solutions;
• Knowledge of application development lifecycle, technical documentation and specification preparation;
• Analytical thinking and ability to work with complex, evolving and cross-functional requirements;
• Good communication skills and ability to present technical concepts clearly.
• As an advantage we consider:
  • Experience with LLM-based architectures, AI agents, chatbot platforms, RAG, embeddings, semantic search or vector databases;
  • Familiarity with AI services and platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock or similar;
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture and services in Azure, AWS or GCP;
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation and containerized environments;
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, API gateways or integration middleware;
  • Understanding of data warehouse architecture, ETL/ELT, metadata management, data governance and data lineage;
  • Knowledge of information security, access control, data protection, reliability and responsible AI principles;
  • Experience with enterprise architecture, architectural modelling, design patterns and architectural documentation;
  • Familiarity with BI, analytics platforms, reporting systems or enterprise data platforms;
  • University degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, mathematics or similar;
  • Relevant certifications in software architecture, cloud, data, security or AI technologies.
