Senior AI Software Developer

You have the opportunity to join our team at the position Senior AI Software Developer

What will you do?

• Participate in the whole software development lifecycle of AI-enabled solutions - from analysis and design to development, testing, documentation, implementation and support;
• Develop and integrate software components, backend services, APIs and tools related to AI functionality and data-driven systems;
• Work on solutions involving chat agents, bots, intelligent assistants, knowledge bases and AI-supported user experiences;
• Participate in integrating large language models, AI services, structured data sources and internal systems;
• Support the improvement and refactoring of existing software components to enable new AI-related functionality;
• Work with databases, data structures, data flows and analytical components in collaboration with data and BI teams;
• Support the preparation and transformation of data used in AI-enabled solutions, reports, knowledge bases or analytical workflows;
• Ensure delivery quality by following best coding practices, testing standards and documentation requirements;
• Participate in architecture and code reviews and contribute to technical decisions;
• Support production readiness, performance, maintainability, security and reliability of developed solutions;
• Mentor colleagues, share technical knowledge and contribute to the team’s knowledge base;
• Contribute to reusable components, development standards and AI-related engineering practices.

What skills and qualifications you need to have?

• At least 5 years of experience in software development;
• Strong experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar;
• Good knowledge of backend development, APIs, databases and system integration;
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL or similar;
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, clean code principles and secure development practices;
• Familiarity with AI-related technologies, large language models, AI-assisted development tools or machine learning concepts;
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN;
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture or enterprise system integration;
• Ability to write readable, testable, reusable and well-documented code;
• Skills in preparing technical specifications and development documentation;
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and desire to work with new technologies;
• Teamwork and deadline keeping abilities.
• As an advantage we consider:
  • Strong backend development experience with Python, Java/Spring Boot, Node.js or similar technologies;
  • Experience with LLMs, AI agents, RAG systems, chatbot frameworks or ML-driven applications;
  • Familiarity with AI services such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock or similar;
  • Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn or other machine learning libraries;
  • Knowledge of embeddings, vector databases, semantic search and knowledge-base-driven applications;
  • Experience with Docker, containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices;
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP;
  • Experience with data warehouse concepts, ETL/ELT, data transformation layers or analytical workflows;
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, security and reliability principles;
  • Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Vue.js;
  • Experience with BI tools, reporting platforms or dashboard development;
  • Experience in design and architecture of applications;
  • University degree in the field of information technology, computer science, mathematics, software engineering or similar;
  • Relevant certificates in software development, cloud, databases, data or AI-related technologies.
