Senior BI Analyst (M/F)

You have the opportunity to join our team at the position Senior Business Intelligence Analyst.

What will you do?

• Participate in the full analytical lifecycle - from requirements gathering and data exploration to modeling, reporting, and delivery of insights;
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support business and strategic decisions;
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools using BI platforms;
• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions and actionable metrics;
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, data models, and data pipelines to support reporting and analysis;
• Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams on data quality, data governance, and data architecture topics;
• Support the design and implementation of KPIs, metrics frameworks, and performance-tracking solutions;
• Perform statistical analysis, forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions;
• Ensure delivery quality by following best analytical practices, documentation standards, and data validation processes;
• Participate in reviews of analytical solutions and contribute to technical and methodological decisions;
• Support production readiness, accuracy, maintainability, and reliability of analytical solutions and reports;
• Mentor colleagues, share analytical knowledge, and contribute to the team's knowledge base;
• Contribute to reusable analytical components, reporting standards, and data engineering practices.

What skills and qualifications you need to have?

• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field;
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or similar;
• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, GUUT, or similar;
• Good understanding of data modeling, data warehouse concepts, and analytical data structures;
• Experience with Excel and/or scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis;
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear analytical solutions and reports;
• Ability to prepare readable, well-documented, and reusable queries, models, and reports;
• Skills in preparing technical specifications and analytical documentation;
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail;
• Teamwork and deadline-keeping abilities.

• As an advantage we consider:
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, or data transformation layers;
  • Experience with Python, pandas, or similar libraries for data processing and analysis;
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN;
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, security, and reliability principles;
  • Experience working with BI teams, data engineering teams, or enterprise data architecture;
  • University degree in the field of statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, information technology, or a similar field;
  • Relevant certificates in data analysis, BI tools, databases, or data-related technologies.
