Senior ML/AI Engineer (M/F)

You have the opportunity to join our team at the position Senior Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence Engineer.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models for real-world applications
• Build robust data pipelines and perform advanced data analysis using Pandas and NumPy
• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions including AI agents, RAG systems, MCP servers, tool integrations, and cloud-native backend services.
• Develop robust agentic systems with effective approaches to tool usage, memory management, context handling, orchestration, reliability, and safety.
• Develop and train deep learning models using PyTorch
• Integrate Large Language Models into production environments while balancing quality, latency, cost, scalability, and observability.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models in production environments
• Implement best practices for model versioning, tracking, and reproducibility using MLflow
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable ML/AI solutions
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability across projects
• Continuously research and apply state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques
• Drive technical design and implementation decisions within your area of ownership, ensuring maintainable, secure, and high-quality solutions.

What skills and qualifications you need to have?

• At least 5 years of experience in machine learning, AI engineering, or related roles;
• Hands-on Engineer with deep knowledge and experience with LLMs, RAGs and AI Agents.
• Strong proficiency in Python and core ML frameworks (Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch)
• Proven experience deploying machine learning models to production
• Solid understanding of MLOps principles and workflows
• Hands-on experience with model versioning and experiment tracking
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Understanding of statistics, forecasting methods, and quantitative analysis techniques;
• Teamwork and deadline-keeping abilities.

• As an advantage we consider:
  • Degree in a STEM field (e.g., computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, quantitative social sciences or related areas)
  • Good knowledge of statistical approaches in one or more of the following machine learning domains, such as:
    • Regression (e.g., Linear Regression, Generalized Linear Model, Lasso, Ridge, Elastic Net)
    • Classification (e.g., Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine (SVM), k-Nearest Neighbors (KNN))
    • Unsupervised ML (e.g., Kernel Density Estimation (KDE), k-Means Clustering, DBSCAN, Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM))
    • Ensembles (e.g., Random Forest, XGBoost, Light GBM, Stacking Regressor, Isolation Forest)
    • Deep Learning (e.g., Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), Long Short-Term Memory Network (LSTM)
  • Experience with distributed training or large-scale data processing
    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for ML systems
    Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
    Background in data engineering or software architecture
